If
my cell phone is not on the list will
you still purchase it?
If
your cell phone is not listed, chances
are we no longer buy that model. The
list of models we accept changes,
sometimes on a daily basis. Technical
advancements, market trends and new
product introductions make the wholesale
cellular phone market extremely volatile
requiring us to monitor model marketability
constantly.
While
we monitor the cell phone market daily,
we may have inadvertently failed to
list an item that is still of value.
If you have a newer model that is
not listed or have a question about
any cell phone's value, please contact
Customer
Service to inquire if it is a
model we buy.
How
long does it take to verify my phone?
Normally
phones are verified within 2 weeks
of being received. Because of the
popularity of the CellForCash.com
service, however, that time may stretch
to 3 weeks.
What
do you do with the cell phones you
buy?
The
phones are tested, refurbished, and
introduced into new markets where
cell phones are typically the only
line of communication available, such
as underdeveloped countries south
of the United States .
A
number of phones are designated as
911 emergency phones and donated to
shelters and charities, while phones
of lesser value are recycled and the
components used to make new phones.
How
long does it take to get my shipping
box?
The
amount of time it takes to receive
a shipping box once it has been sent
depends on your location. Boxes are
usually received, however, within
3 to 7 business days.
When will I receive a payment for my transaction?
As our User Agreement states, a check will be processed 45 days from the date the phones are verified. You will be sent an email notification once the check is mailed.
Are
the memory card and the SIM card the
same?
No.
The sim card contains your personal
information along with your address
book. It is not necessary to send
the SIM card in with the phone. The
memory card is used to share downloads,
pictures, games, ring tones, etc.
If your phone requires a memory card,
we need it along with the phone to
make a test call.
Do
you track stolen cell phones?
We
do not track stolen cell phones, but
we keep a record of esn numbers of
the phones that we purchase so a stolen
phone can be cross checked. We also
work with law enforcement agencies
and report suspicious activity.
What
if I want my cell phone back?
If
you decide that you do not want cash
for your cell phone or realize you
have sent the phone in error, we will
send the phone back if we are notified
before we receive the box. Once the
phones have been received they will
be returned only if we no longer purchase
the phone or the phone is broken.
Those phones can be returned at the
owner's expense or we can recycle
them for free.
How
many cell phones can I sell on CellForCash.com?
There
is no limit on the amount of phones
you can sell on our web site. We will
cover the shipping and pay for any
phone we are currently accepting.
We may also purchase lower end phones
not listed on the site if they are
in a large quantity.
Can
I add another cell phone to my transaction
after I have completed it?
You
can add another phone to your transaction
by simply including it in the box with your other phone.
If it's a valued phone we will pay the current price on the website provided it passes testing, otherwise it will be recycled for free.
What
is your recycling policy?
Cell
For Cash is environmentally conscious
and is dedicated to ensuring that

and components end up in a landfill.
We have partnered with the world's
leading specialist in the recycling
and reuse of industrial by-products.
Any cell phone sent to us will be

Will
you charge for recycling my non-working
or valueless cell phone?
There
is no charge for recycling a non-working
or valueless phone. Cell For Cash
is dedicated to providing a convenient
way to recycle cell phones at no cost
to business or the consumer. Just
include the phones along with a note
in the box with the phones that we
are purchasing.
If
you do not have any phones that we
currently purchase, we will still
recycle your old phones. Working models
will be used in the 911 emergency
phone program, while non working models
will be recycled. You are responsible
for the cost of shipping on those
phones.
What
if my cell phone has a few dings and
scratches but still works, will you
accept it?
Absolutely!
We only require that the cell phone
is complete and operates normally.
Cosmetic condition will have no effect
on whether the phone will be purchased
or not.
What
if my cell phone is in really rough
shape...you know the plastic lens
is cracked...dog chewed antenna ...numbers
worn completely off the buttons...but
still works, will you accept it?
Yes
we will. As long as the phone will
make a test call, has a working speaker
and mic, good LCD and will power up,
we will pay you for it. If the phone
has extra features like a camera,
they should be functional as well.
Do
you want my battery, charger and other
accessories?
All
we need is the cell phone and the
battery. We do not buy any cell phone
accessories. If you include the accessories,
however, we will make sure they are
recycled.
What
if my cell phone is broken and cannot
be repaired, will you still pay me
for it?
If
the phone is broken and cannot make
a test call, does not have working
speaker and mic, bad LCD or won't
power up, it will not be purchased.
If you send us the phone, however,
it will be recycled properly.
Does
it matter what service provider my
phone is for?
Service
provider is not considered when purchasing
phones on Cell For Cash. The phone
only has to be a manufacturer and
model number we accept.
What
if I accidentally send you the wrong
phone?
It's
important that you identify and enter
the proper manufacturer and model
number when you make your transactions.
Double check your information before
you submit it. If there is a discrepancy
in your transaction, a Cell For Cash
representative will contact you.
What
if my phone has a personal lock code?
If
your phone has a personal lock code,
please unlock the phone or send the
code along with the phone. The technicians
cannot test a phone with a lock code
activated, therefore the transaction
cannot be completed.
Do
I have to pay for shipping?
Once
a transaction is made, a box will
be sent to you with a prepaid shipping
label. You do not have to pay to ship
your phones to us.
What
if the prices you pay for the phones
change after I send my phones in?
Prices
fluctuate based on demand, but once
a transaction has been made for a
specific price, that price will be
honored if the transaction was made
before the price change. A price change
will not impact a transaction unless
a period of 45 days has passed since
the transaction was first made.
Any
phones received 45 days after a price
change would reflect the new amount.
